I am not anti-shortcut. I’ve typed more enuffs and prollys than most. But if you’re gonna use ’em, use ’em right.

Oughta comes from “ought to”. “Why, I oughta clobber you.”

Outta comes from “out of”. “I can’t take anymore, I’m outta here.”
